hadn’t seen this movie...when i saw “nuke the fridge” i figured it meant nuke as in “reheat in the microwave” the fridge “leftovers from previous meals”...refering to Speilberg and Lucas’ prediliction to 1. to jazz up/reedit/neuter their classics and 2. to make boring sequels to their 80s hits. If “nuke the fridge” is something else, I think this idea deserves a phrase too...Perhaps its somewhere in the Brian Posein joke where he talks about watching Episode 1 being much like being molested by a trusted uncle.
